I loved Uncle Toms Cabin but I didn't realize that Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote other things. silly me. She was brilliant, of course she wrote other things. Did you read this book, or find the quote somewhere else?
I found the quote in the book, "One Thousand Good Things," but I haven't made it through the whole book yet! They didn't reference where she had written or said that, but it would be interesting to know if she wrote other books.
