Well, the wedding was wonderful! It was a successful, beautiful DIY wedding, and I'm now gleefully married to my love.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to post pictures along the way, but here's a smattering to give you an idea of how it went.
For all brides-to-be, I'd highly recommend printing your own invitations. People can't tell the difference between professionally printed invites and those you've done on your own. My turn out great! I got them from Michaels and absolutely loved them.

We also did our own favor boxes. I got these at Michael's too. We wrapped the boxes in blue paper, then hot glued lace around them. We filled them with homemade chocolates made in heart molds (also purchased at Michael's). We spent about $1.50 on each guest. They were lovely!
The above is a pic of how they finally turned out. We arranged them in some beautiful bowls that a dear friend let us borrow. We wrapped the boxes in blue paper, then hot glued lace around them. They turned out lovely!
The centerpieces were vases filled with water and floating candles. Very simple, but they looked lovely!
Well, that's all for now. I have much to say about aprons and 3 layer cakes and life in California, but I'll save it for another time. You all have a good one!
The Mrs.
