 For tousled blonde hair and a big baby boy who just learned to stand up,

For garden-fresh fruit and herbs on weathered wood,

For how it's somehow necessary to sleep with your nose covered,

I'm thankful that this color blue exists - and does so after an overwhelming thunderstorm,

for a reading list whose length extends with each trip to a thrift store,
